BIRTHDAY GREETINGS, BOTTLE OF WINE ...
Feb. 6th, 2008 01:16 amA briefly belated Happy-Birthday greeting to my friend and former colleague Bob -- otherwise known as "Grady," otherwise known as Bobbalew -- certainly among the most unique of Folks Of My Acquaintance.
Heh. Grady graduated from Houghton in the mid 1960s and is fond of noting in Charasteristic Curmudgeon, "That place has gone to Hell in a handbasket."
To which I generally reply: "Yeah. After you guys, they just gave up."
Have a great week, sir. Take the dog for an extra run at the Elitist Country Club, and keep an eye peeled for Reeling Re-PUB-lican motorists.
