MILESTONES (AND RUNESTONES)

Today's the birthdate of two people without whom my life would have been infinitely poorer:

* My mother, for obvious reasons.

* J.R.R. Tolkien, for creating a mythology that rings true as life, that illuminates our lives. A glass shall, of course, be raised.
