A MOVIE MEME
Mar. 1st, 2005 11:26 pmWell, another Oscar night's come and gone. This year, I didn't see any of the major nominated films, though a lot of them certainly sounded interesting. (And it's not too late to see a number of them on the big screen, even Ray, which is probably in an indie house somewhere around here.) I just didn't bestir myself to get to the theater often in 2004 -- in fact, I think I only saw three first-run films in the theater that year: The Incredibles, Fahrenheit 9-11 and The Passion of the Christ. Three more different films you're unlikely to find; don't know what it says about me. To hear various Media Pundits pontificate, you'd think nobody in the country saw both the Moore and the Gibson films. Media Pundits, of course, would be nowhere without generalities ...
So anyway, on the subject of movies, I purloined the following meme from [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com]'s journal; I've seen it make the rounds before and thought I'd give it a whirl. The rules: Copy the movie list in your journal; boldface the films you've seen; and add three more films to the bottom of the list. Have fun.
( And the movies are ... )
