As mentioned a few posts ago, I'm not entirely sorry to see 2004 go. It was a bit of a holding-pattern for me: I made little progress on my writing projects, found myself coasting on a spiritual/intellectual level, didn't even make much progress physically (though I did lose something like ten pounds) and certainly not financially. But 2004 did have its moments, and highlights.
